There is a scene in BoJack Horseman when he tries to start running and an old monkey gives him an advice: “it gets easier… but you gotta do it everyday, then it gets easier”.
Every time I feel like struggling or out of shape in my craft, in my hobbies… and well, even in my running seshs, that monkey appears in my brain. There is magic in using discipline to build habits and feeling these actions become a natural thing, where only the fun layer exists and all the effort vanishes 💆♂️

That's the tricky part with art, two paths are not the same. But without the discipline it won't get any easier trying to discover what you can do.
With some objective stuff you can see the outcome of the effort and consistency but with art some things are unknown. But without the discipline they will remain unkown.
